Nikki Stocker LIDTA

Principal/ teacher

I started dancing at the age of 3 working my way through the IDTA and RAD syllabii to teacher level. Throughout my training I was able to compete in many local and National competitions ,ultimatly becoming the West Yorkshire Tap and Modern Champion and at the age of 16 being a finalist in the Miss Dance of Great Britain competition. During this time I also appeared in many professional pantomimes as a junior chorus member and with Billy Pearce in many of his touring shows. While at college I started my professional career in performing arts and this eventually allowed me to perform worldwide for many leading choreographers and producers in various productions, touring shows and on many prestigious cruise ships. Performing for a variety of different audiences including Royalty.

Since getting married and having 3 children of my own my aim is to share my knowledge and love of performance with generations to come and encourage children to have fun and fulfil their potential.
