ROYAL BALLET  and NORTHERN BALLET JUNIOR ASSOCIATES PROGRAMME

April 2023

Leo Armitage successfully auditioned for a place on both the Royal Ballet and the Northern Ballet Junior Associates programmes. He was chosen from 1000s of applicants to be offered a place on these prestigious programmes and has chosen to take his place with the Royal Ballet which he will start in September alongside his current studies with the Stocker Dance Academy.

ALADDIN

December 2019

Eleanor Heppenstall successfully auditioned for the pantomime Aladdin at Castleford Civic Theatre where she will perform over the Christmas period.

PETER PAN

May 2018

Taylor Sampson will appear in Wakefield West Riding Theatre Companys production of Peter Pan. Well done on being cast in this production and we wish you the very best in your performances.

2 of our younger students were chosen to appear in an advertising campaign for photographer Wild Berry in their Fairy advertisements. Well done to Gracie Crowther and Willow-Jai Wood.

ANNIE

June 2017

We have 2 girls appearing in Annie with Dewsbury Amateur Dramtics this month, Taylor Sampson will play Duffy and Isobel Bates will play an orphan. Well done girls !

LES SYLPHIDES

Well done to sisters Kimberley and Jessamyn who were chosen from hundreds of girls to appear in the Regional Youth Ballet companys' production of Les Sylphides. Fantastic opportunity for the girls !!

DICK WHITTINGTON

Lauren Stocker will be appearing in the senior chorus at Wakefield Theatre Royal in this years pantomime production of Dick Whittington. This is a huge achievement after auditioning with hundreds of local hopefuls for a chance to join the cast! Lauren has previously appeared in Sleeping Beauty and Aladdin so this will be her 3rd pantomime at the Theatre Royal!

LES SYLPHIDES

Congratulations to Zoe Dennison who has successfully auditioned to appear in the regional youth ballet companys' production of Les Sylphides to be staged in July in Halifax. Huge achievement to be chosen from hundreds of girls from the region and a fantastic opportunity to work within a professional ballet company.

OPERA NORTH

Well done to Lauren Stocker whos has been cast in the childrens chorus for Opera Norths production of La Boheme at Leeds Grand Theatre and Manchester Lowry Theatre in May. Good luck Lauren!!

ANNIE

Well done to Rachel Cannon who appeared as Pepper in a production of Annie at Wakefield Theatre Royal with Wakefield West Riding theatre company. As always this was a fantastic performance with a highly acclaimed local company.

WHISTLE DOWN THE WIND

Well done to Lauren Stocker and Emily Taylor for outstanding performances in this production with Brassneck Theatre Company. Emily played "Candy" and Lauren played "Elizabeth" the production was given amazing reviews in the press and recieved standing ovations. Well done girls!
